Icon6 ROLEX when not wearing?

So whats the protocal if you only wear your rolex on weekdays, or change watches for few days. If no auto watchwinder and it stops do you wind it 30 or so times prior to putting it back on, what if its still running, wind it at all or just start wearing again? Does it matter if it is face up or on its side on the nightstand?

It isn't that complicated. If it's not running, wind it about 30 times and start to wear it. Its just a watch. welcome to the forum.

If it's still running put it on a forget about it. It it's stopped 40 turns and you good to go.

As much as I rotate watches, I always end up winding before putting on.

One good reason is if you play sports that are not watch friendly (like basketball) and have to take it off. I wouldn't want to leave it in the locker, or on the bench while I play. Now if your sport is swimming, maybe not a problem.

Some tasks of my profession do not allow an individual to wear a watch. There are some days I cannot wear a watch, I just used a weekend to illustrate my point. Anyway thanks for the advice.

If it is running fast, you can put it crown up to slow it down at night, so that you can impress your friends with a nice average between -1 to +1 sec/day. j/k Welcome to the forum, enjoy your watch!
