Jubilee bracelet authenticity question

I recently acquired my first Rolex and love it. I recently took it in to a local AD to have the springbars replaced. The watchmaker on site had not question as to the authenticity of the watch itself, but was perplexed regarding the bracelet.

He indicated that all of the numbers "matched up" as far as the bracelet and Rolex model, but noted that, while this Rolex has the holes in the lugs, the bracelet appeared to have a telltale "gap" to accomodate a tool to remove the bracelet on models without the externally exposed holes. (My apologies for likely mangling/missing some of the technical names of these features).

I'm attaching some pictures below. Hopefully some of you knowledgable folks can help me determine whether this bracelet is indeed authentic, and whether it is the "mate" this watch itself.

This is a 16234 Datejust, E serial number. The markings on the bracelet are 62510H and DE7. What I believe are the endlinks have "555 B" stamped on them.

Any insights would be greatly appreciated!

Bracelet is authentic. However, it is not original to the watch. Most likely, the original bracelet was replaced during a service which is something that is NOT unusual. You're good to go.

No worries and congrats on your new watch!

Where did you get the watch from and does it have any history? Ignore this post, just seen previous post from very experienced member.

I bought the watch from its second owner. He had the watch authenticated by the RSC in NY and nothing about the bracelet being non-authentic was indicated. I had no qualms until the AD suggested that something was "off."

However, after posting I did some further searching and it looks like the 555B can fit various Datejust models (those with and without the drilled-through lug holes), which would explain why the bracelet accommodates the bracelet-removal tool that would not be necessary for this particular watch.

Thanks for the quick (and reassuring) replies.
