Perfect Panerai Duo
Hey guys,
I am trying to limit myself to only 2 PAMs. What would be your ideal pair or duo? I thinking 104 and 24. Or possibly 104 and 210? Lets hear your thoughts and see your pics!!! John

Either Eric's call or you can get one with a sec hand for variety. That said, I love the bases so if only two in that range, I'd do the 210/000, but I'm not going to limit myself to just two!

I'm a Luminor chap, so I would suggest one Luminor case and one Luminor 1950 case. Perhaps one manual wind and one automatic. I also favour sandwich dials and small seconds, so would probably go for 111 and 312/320

What a tough choice. Well, on the Rad side, the decision is quite easy... 210 - without a doubt. Great DNA, great value, and if you choose to mod the hands to gold hands one day like Mik - looks amazing.
On the Luminor side - well many options. If the 312 fits you, then that would be a nice complement to the 210. The two I have are 000 and the 233.

If I can have only 2 Pams, I would go for 372 and 232.

I would do a submersible for casual days and either a 312 or a 233 for when I want to be a bit dressy.

A pair of modern classics as a consideration....
Here is what seems to be working for me - for right now anyhow
312 - which nearly everyone is familiar with, and a perhaps slightly lesser known 323 - 10 day in house movement, GMT, 47 mm (case size of a 232 w/ the case thickness of a 190) Here is a quick pic with them both dressed in Mauser Ammos.... Good luck with your search! The good news is that there are no wrong answers. Go with what speaks to you the loudest. |

Have the 372 and 249 127 expensive and difficult to source in my part of the wood.448/449 part of the "Boutique only" rubbish Therefore, for next year a 422 and 425 would go down better than Dom Perignon .... Oh and a DD II in YG too ...
