slow day rollover on daydate
I have a friend who owns a gmc dealership and when I went to go trade in my old car for a new (certified pre-owned) trailblazer we sparked up a convo about his new day-date...He says he loves the watch and all but he said at midnight it takes a long time for the day to change...He says the date changes right @ 12 but the day takes up to an hour to roll over to the next day...Is that normal?
Thanks in advance! |

The date change should be like snapping your fingers. If it isn't then there is something wrong

Day and date change should both be simultaneous changing with a "snap".
I'd say that the day wheel might be in need of a clean. This means either warranty or a service. Not a big deal, but it can happen when the lubricants have dried out. |

How old is the DD? If it is not a "Double Quick" that might explain it.

Got to agree with Bo if its a older pre quickset DD then its perfectly normal. But again as long as the day changes would not worry two much about it.
