Best place for new face
My father in law left me a 1990's vintage DJ L886176 but the face is an aftermarket. I had my local AD crack it open and he verified that the watch is real. AD says Rolex will not replace an aftermarket face. Any suggestions?
Thanks |

Don't be so sure...
Rolex may replace an aftermarket dial..if that is the purpose of your sending it to them; they will not return your aftermarket part. If you're sending it in for service with aftermarket parts, they will refuse the work.......unless you have just received it and are trying to restore it to it's original Rolex splendor (I believe that is their perspective...) They will charge you for the full service (~500) and the cost for a new dial |

I think Larry is right. Rolex will service and replace with the correct service replacement dial.......or no service.
