Icon20 Tudor Rolex Submariner 7928 / 7528? - Auth or Fake

Hello Guys

I am a new member and hopefully i will find some answers from specialised members and familiar with Rolex / Tudor Rolex watches.

I recently found an interesting Tudor Rolex Submariner vintage condition.

The guy says it is a 60's Submariner model ref 7928. I did not find any reference about this movement.

1. I find strange the rotor inscriptions.
2. The yellowish copper mantle. Never saw such holding a Tudor Submariner movement (neither other Tudor vintage movements)
3. The rubber that surrounds the cover-cap.
4. The extremities that protects the crown has an unfinished look.

He said he will get back tomorrow w/ more pictures. For the moment i will add a picture exactly as i received with the movement.

Hopefully this helps to make an idea.

Can someone help me ?

Thank you very much

It seems i can't add pictures. If someone can explain how it works, i would highly appreciate it.

Or simply a link to the picture: http://img23.imageshack.us/img23/9920/movementd.jpg

Welcome to the forum, you should post in the Vintage Sub-Section where I'm sure you can find out more information. Plus more pictures will be needed to judge the watch!!!

i've tried over and over again to upload pictures but it seems impossible. can't say why. it usually has to be very simple. maybe rolexforums won't let me upload imageshack pictures.

if you can check my second post / reply i've added a link with the movement.

thank you guys!

Florian

Hard to say with just one low quality pic.
What I can say is that the band is fake and the movement looks wrong.

I would run away!

...mmmmm...

...movement AND band are BOTH FAULKERS.

...most likely a fake case also.
