Well gold is meant to shine surely, and just would not look right, if it had a dull brushed finish.

Not sure why you would do that. TT oyster bracelets have always looked that way. The point of the gold TT I thought was the shiny gold contrast to the SS. I do understand the issue with the new SS bracelets having a PCL versus the older style. Of all brushed SS.
