Explorer 1 - 36mm or 39mm?

Which one do you prefer between the 36mm and 39mm? I can't decide.

Welcome. I like the 36mm better, but why not try both on and see what YOU like.

Smaller wrist=36mm, bigger wrist=39mm...............I have smaller wrists, so I prefer the 36mm one.......but remember, IMHO, a Rolex/Tudor oyster cased watch wears bigger than its specs. Try them on.

I got the 36mm and love it! As Dr. Bob and Wolfgang said, the watch does wear larger than what the specs will make you believe. This is due to it having a thin bezel, 20mm lug space and fairly large dial. Go to an AD and try them both.

You should definitely try on both, and ascertain which you prefer.

I bought the 39mm because I liked the 3,6,9 look better. They are both very nice watches

I am wearing a PAM 111 now so I am leaning towards the 39mm based on the size alone however my question is more regarding the other differences ... white numbers vs silver, etc.

Thanks for the welcome and advice so far!!!!!!!
