Rolex in Mexican Riviera

We are heading on a cruise this weekend to Cabo and Puerto Vallarta. Can you give any good recommendations for a Rolex store not too far in town? Looking for a Ladies DateJust 2 tone with Chocolate face. Found it in St Thomas in Dec and kicking myself for not getting it.

Thanks!

There's a Rolex dealer right there in Cabo on the marina. Can't miss it. I'll be back in August to take a look around.

I was in playa del carmen at an all inclusive last april before i had my watch. We rented a car and went to town for dinner a few times. Also drove down to tulum to hand out with an old friend and kiteboard.

At the end of the day, i didnt feel uncomfortable at all, BUT i would leave my watch at home considering that i would rather not worry.

AD at Cabo is the same as in Cancun, Cozumel and Playa. Prices are caribbean duty free. As wearing one, it depends on what you want to do. I use a 2T sub as my daily watch and never had a problem.

I bought my 14060M from UltraJewels in Cabo in January of this year. There are two locations, one is kind of buy Cabo Wabo and the other is on the Marina. We went into both and had some good conversations with both locations but I bought and prefer the Marina store. They were much more hospital and would talk about prices up front. I had about 7 timepieces out on the counter at one time and even walked around the store wearing a couple of different ones so I could get the feel. They are very nice salespeople and pretty knowledgeable about all of the brand that they carry!

We own a timeshare down there and it's going to be hard not to buy a new timepiece every time that we go back, but I can promise you I'll be in the store half a dozen times every year!

I was more than satisfied with the price I paid. I got a nice discount off the pricing, it was tax free, and then since Mexico charges VAT in the prices you even get a chunk of that money back! It was awesome! The VAT refund took about 45 days but it was hassle free and didn't cost me anything. And finally, I got a Rolex gift when I bought so I was very happy--again!

Last thing... They charge you in USD, not pesos, so you don't get charged any foreign transactions fees.

Great location, great selection, great people, and great prices!
