Which ones are on your "list?"
I'm sure this has been posted before but I'm new to the forum, and I'm sure there are other new members since this was posted. What are the watches that you have on your realistic (Ha! Ha!) wish list? I'm not talking about Grail Watches, but which watches do you desire to have, whether to wear or collect and why?
At the moment (note the disclaimer ) I have my 5513 which I will never sell. I wear it every day. That being said, I wouldn't mind another (newer) watch for daily wear. I have a handful of watches on my wish list. In no particular order, here are mine: 1. A newer Sub, most likely a 16610LV. I love the Maxi Dial and green bezel. 2. A vintage Tudor Sub. Snowflake? Not sure one is in my budget, but in my mind, this is a true tool watch (not that I'm a diver, but...). I think the tall crystals are neat. 3. Air King. Simple, clean, functional. A great watch to wear daily. The tough part for me: would be which dial to choose? 4. GMT (I). Not sure which model...I'm still new to the idea but additional hand is so cool and like the Submariner, has a wonderful heritage. 5. A Tudor Chronograph, again, stainless. A 79260P with a white dial. Why? I just like 'em. So let's have some fun with this! What watches would you like to have? Feel free to critique my choices as well. |

If it's made with Roman Numerals, I will buy a YG Sky Dweller when released here in the US. Otherwise, my DDII is really the only Rolex I desire.

My list is influenced by others here on TRF.
- Ken's JLC - Dan's GMT on the Super Jubilee - Dr. JBA's DDII (or some variation) - YG SKD (or RG if they offer it with a bracelet) I think this is enough, though there are probably some others.

No Rolexes I want right now used or vintage except the WG SubC or GMTII C YG with green dial. That said my next purchase since I'm going to spend $20-30k is going to be an AP. AP ROO Chrono here I come!!!!! I can't justify a Rolex when I can pick up the AP for about the same price.

Breguet has some wonderful pieces. When you're in Vegas next month, check out the watch store across from the Rolex boutique in the Wynn. They had some top line models last time I was there!

1. Explorer II in black 40mm
2. Hopefully by the time they hit dealers I will be able to justify the new DJ II with smooth bezel in the silver dial! |

Let me say that you are a very luck man Sir! Not for the beautiful collection of fine timepieces that you own but more for the wonderfully understanding wife that you have Something in 18k is on my list. Perhaps a sub or a gmt, we will see what the future brings 16618 maybe

Right now - options for next watch would be either to Sell my SS sub and get a TT black face sub - or keep the sub and get a YG GMT II :D

Well I must say all the Rolex I could buy are still grails because I'll have to save quite a lot to buy them but in the "potentially affordable" section I'd put those ones:
- YG Day-Date - TT GMT-II - SS/WG Omega Speedmaster Professional Moonphase - TT Maurice Lacroix Masterpiece - SS/PLT Yacht-Master (if not a TT model) - SS Explorer-II white dial (as surprising as it is, it went from the watch I really don't like to the watch I'd gladly wear)
