FrankenRivetBracelet help...

I need some expert eyes to figure out if this bracelet is a worthy addition to my 7928 Tudor Submariner.

I've never seen a real Rivet bracelet, and I really have no experience with vintage bracelets. My thinking is that the "Rolex USA" is a giveaway that this bracelet is junk. Also, the endlink pieces are mismatched, and they have no markings on them...

What do you think...? I've seen some bracelets on the internet that look similar, and others quite different... What am I looking at here...are these items: (i) Good bracelet, (ii) Franken (some good), or (iii) junk.

The answer is (i).

Here is my former 14K gold clasp from 1969.
And it can stretch too.

Hey thanks that's good news, but shouldn't the end links have some type of number on them, these are blank....

pretty sure i've seen some like those up for sale

on the VRF and iirc, the Rolex USA bracelets didn't necessarily have numbered endlinks

you might post this over there and see what those guys respond

The C&I bracelets do not have end link numbers. They are an outstanding band for vintage Rolex. Throw it my way if you don't want it.

Your bracelet is genuine.

All USA made bracelets are stamped C & I
As well the endlinks are not stamped with any numbers, just left blank.

Generally the USA rivet bracelets are less expensive to buy on the used market.

Thanks, is it worth $300 dollars, because that's what I was thinking about offering for it...?

Sure is. It needs a little work but is very repairable.

Jeff, while many USA bracelets were made by C&I, not all USA made bracelets are marked C&I who was a manufacturer of bracelets for Rolex. Many USA bracelets are only marked Stainless Steel, Rolex, USA. Then you have the JB bands which are also marked JB and USA.

I love these US rivet bands, especially the stretchable ones.
They are really comfortable.
The end links fit well cases if you adjust them properly.
Yours is genuine and looks in good condition.
As John said in a previous thread, these C&I bands are not yet copied.
