Well I'm going down to Rosedale...

Greetings TRF,

I wanted to play some blues tonight so I thought it was the perfect occasion to get this baby from the rack and play some mean slide guitar. I haven't seriously played on it in a while and I forgot how fun it actually was to have it!

Yes, it's an Epiphone Biscuit. I really recommend it to anybody who wants to play some good ol' delta blues every now and then, it has a wonderful sound and is quite loud despite being acoustic.

I also thought it would be nice to take a couple of pictures of my delta blues gear. I hope you'll appreciate them!

I found the metal bottle neck when I first started to play guitar. It was in one of my father's guitar's cases and I really like its dirty sound. Call me crazy but it has some scratches and dings on it and it makes it sound different from a brand new stainless steel one!

I bought a glass bottle neck a couple of months later to get a warmer sound and less parasite noises when I played on an electric guitar (I like it but sometimes you want it to sound more clean). Unfortunately, due to my clumsiness I broke it so my girlfriend bought this one for me and gave it to me on our third year anniversary.

Cream fans will most probably get the engraving and aawww's shall be heard all over the world!

I really should practice more but I can't seem to play the harmonica. Still, I own two...

If anybody from Montreal knows how to rock the hell out of them please come play with me sometimes!

The haunted sisters!

And two last random shots, did I tell you I also like watches a little bit? I thought it would be nice to mix my two passions! I call them Rolex with a guitar, what do you think?

Thank you for watching!

Going down to Rosedale, rider by my side. Well you can barrelhouse baby, on the riverside.

Great line. Used in Crossroads and Travelling Riverside Blues by Mr Johnson.

Gorgeous Epiphone Carl!

Thank you Adam!

But please let me correct you a little bit! That verse was originally on Traveling Riverside Blues by Robert Johnson but Clapton decided to put it in his cover of Crossroads, it's not on the original!

Ah didn't know that! Haven't heard the original in a while! I've never played a dobro that was strung left handed!

I actually just changed the strings on it, I didn't try to modify the body or the bridges of the guitar. It gets hard to tune sometimes but I like the kind of quickly done job, it gets me the feeling that this is what left handed used to do back then.
