Hello F1 Fans,

Just wondering if anyone is excited for the 2012 Melborne Grand Prix? I'm very excited. Great to have Kimi Raikkonen back on the grid, after his absence from Formula One. Anyone from Down Under going to the race? If so post some pics!

Predictions?

Let's just see how qualifying turns out!

Looking forward to it Adam, apart from will be at work so will record it.

Difficult to predict at the moment but McClaren and Mercedes look quick. Wouldn't surprise me though if Red Bull snatch it.

Great to hear guys! I think it will be a McLaren weekend. Jenson Button is a fantastic driver! Mercedes GP will be fast too! Ferrari and Red Bull seem to be off pace.

Qualifying airs here at 2am!

Yes! The new "platypus" noses are pretty ugly! The MP4-27 is the only car that doesn't have it.

Some guys have been working hard in the off-season.

RedBull just didn't have the speed of the new improved McLarens.

Very great qualifying session! Good to see my McLaren boys on top!! In Q2 I was a little disappointed that Bruno Senna didn't go for a final hotlap around the track. He's got a lot of potential. I'm a big fan of his late Uncle. Can't wait for the race!!!

Looks to be an exciting season, the Red Bull domination looks over as Mclaren have upped their game Mercedes look very strong fastest car in speed traps. Lotus could get a podium. Ferrari look dead and buried if Massa's performance is any reflection. Alonso made a driver error so true performance of the car has not been seen, but does not look good.

My DVR is set to the Speed Channel for Sunday 12:30 to 3:30 AM CST. I enjoy open-wheel racing and have been to many races over the years.

Regardless of qualifying I think Vettel will be on the podium by the time the race is over.

Sounds crazy to some but each GP to me is like the Superbowl. Between that and Sebring its a good motor sports weekend.
