Been waiting all month for this...

....To see if my 6 on 26 was open or closed, following a thread asking why there are some date wheels that have open 6's and 9's on all numbers which should be open, except the 26's...I know I could have advanced the date but that would've taken some of the anticipation away.

Just something I'd never noticed, but it was really bugging me - now I know

Soz about the quality of the pic and dust on the insert and plexi - was just about to set off on a business trip and time was limited.

Dan, I didn't have to wait as long as you, but my 26 is closed and of course, no quick set date.

I also wonder if the slightly opened 26, like you have is more common on a certain dial? Yours is the Mark II, correct? Mine that has the closed 26 is a Mark IV
