Help Tudor Ranger ?Legit? Pic heavy
Hi everyone, i've been looking for an old school military looking watch to wear on a NATO as a daily. Found this one for about the same price as a nice modded Seiko diver. Catch is: its in Hong Kong. I know zero about authenticating so any help will be greatly appreciates.
Thanks in advance

FWIW, it looks old, and the movement sure looks like it was exposed to the elements, which isn't typical and probably not good, and finally the lume looks to me to be too white and unaffected by time and whatever got inside the case to be vintage or original.

Thank BOA, the seller did state that the dial and hands were redone. Im looking for a daily and not a watch to collect as a vintage.More like something o wear when at the gym or washing a car. But given the fact that you think it was exposed to the elements (inside) I may just pass. Nothing worse than a watch that cant keep time !
Thanks for the help

Hopefully some others will chime in. Perhaps there's a reason for the dirt and stains and a reasonable explanation for how those letters wore off the rotor. I've got 150-year-old pocket watches with pristine insides, so I can't think of any excuse for how that looks except water damage at some time in its life. Maybe you should ask them about it and see what they say.

A quote from James Dowling.
Hi All; Really, all I can say is that in my 20+ years of dealing with Rolex & Tudor watches, I have yet to see a Ranger with factory red text. Also, 90+***37; of all the Tudor Rangers I see are completely fake; the movements are original, but nothing else is. And speaking for myself the only experience I have with the Tudor Ranger for every genuine one there are many many faked ones like the red rangers too.So if you intend to buy one have it checked out first best be safe than sorry.
