Help educate me
I am new to AP ,my next acquisition is going to be the new 44mm panda. Once well circulated in the market should I be able to get around 20% discount? Or buy from one of the many great trusted sellers on TRF at a discount? I must say the brand and the many watches AP have to offer are growing on me. I hope to join the club soon...

I believe you should be able to get a discount at an AD or with one of our trusted sellers but never at the AP Boutiques.

AS stated above, don't buy from a boutique. The most you'll get off is about 5%. Hunt around and either approach one of our trusted sellers or keep watching the grey dealer sites. But main dealers could give up to 30%.
Is the Yacht-Master your main watch and has it been for a while? You may find the Offshore quite thick after such a beautifully slim and comfy watch. Have you thought of the Royal Oak range? I've attached a couple of comparison pics of my old Offshore and Yacht-Master. Let us know how you get on.

Should easily be able to find at least 20% from an AD or trusted seller.
Boutiques are great to visit and look at the selection but you won't find a decent discount.

I've been offered a 15% discount at an EU-based AP Boutique for both a 37mm steel ROO and a RO 15300ST, so I wouldn't say it's impossible to get a discount at an AP Boutique Grey dealers can go up to 30-35% discount, especially on less popular LNIB/BNIB models.

The "New" 44mm Offshore is a bit of a hot cake as many AD's still only got 1-2 pieces since it was introduced at SIHH 2011. But some AD's would still give you 15-20% off if they have it in stock.
Our trusted sellers here on TRF would definitely give you 20% off MSRP.

I agree with you.
I said "decent" discount at a Boutique. I've been offered similar as well but you can definately do better with a standard AD or TRF seller.
