Oops, I did it again
I was going to keep this on the down low for a while but I am so excited about my new purchase that I can hardly contain myself.
Thanks to DavidSW for this magnificent piece. Hand delivered to my folks in Orlando (They got back from a 2 month stay in FL yesterday) and I picked this beauty up last night after work. Count me in on the AP Owners list! If you're wondering what I did before that I did it again, I just bought my first Panerai about a month ago from drgross/dra144. Thanks to my wonderful wife who is soooooooo understanding about my obsessions (watches and cars).

Congrats on the AP Charles. Wives are very understanding initially. Hell, I can remember when my wife said, "Sure you deserve it," to my first several watches. Many watches later... big change in tune. Don't even get me started on cars...

Thanks guys. I love the Offshores. All of the ones I have tried on. From the first time I tried on a Volcano in Cozumel, to the second time I tried on the same Volcano in the same store 6 months later. I was recently on yet another cruise a few weeks ago through St Thomas and St Maarten where I got a chance to try on many, many watches. I had a very nice conversation with a very knowledgeable salesperson at Diamonds International Watch and Design in the AH Riise Mall in St Thomas. I learned a lot about AP and the watch industry in general during our 40 minute conversation.
Anyways, I had a good amount of wrist time with a Bumblebee and got a first hand look at how special that piece really is. WOW! I tried on the other Offshores in St. Maarten but as I was returning from the beach I didn't have my Blackberry with me to take pics (of the Panda, Safari and Volcano-again!). What I realized from this experience was that the Offshores are stunning watches, all of them in their own way. As much as I love the Volcano, I don't know how versatile it would be for me so I went with the Safari (I don't have a white -ish dial watch in my collection so I figured it was the way to go). Here are some more pics from my cruise. The Bumblebee Rubberclad My wife even got into the spirit of things My wife has always said, she is not a fan of watches with diamonds but in the case of the AP, she could make an exception.
