Gmt II

Hi:

I’m trying to figure out the style number meaning for a GMT II.

I spoke with my local AD and found their response pretty disappointing considering I recently purchased a Sub and Daytona from them.
They graciously provided me with the Rolex telephone number in NYC. Needless to say, my next Rolex purchase won’t be from them.

The style number I’m trying to understand is R16710N30B7879.

Any assistance you could provide would be greatly appreciated determining what the numbers and letters mean.

Thanks for your help………..
Regards,
Dennis

16710 is the older GMT. It comes in the black bezel, the Pepsi bezel or the Coke bezel. It is a gorgeous watch! More members will chime in soon on the 16710.

Is it considered bad form to switch outa the GMT hands. I like the new GMT ceramic a lot. But don't care foray, the green hand. Anybody switch?
