Its hard to say 100% but it looks pretty clean given the pictures you posted. The "pix" trademark on the inner side of the clip is missing on most low end fakes. The laser etching on the round part of the clip under the "mountain" top will be much cleaner on the real one.

Is there anything special that makes you question the authenticity?

Looks OK from what I can tell

Long story, but essentially my dad gets points from gambling. Then uses these points to buy stuff from the casino gift shops. Some casino gift shops carry fake designer stuff (especially indian casinos). Some of the stuff is legit.

Rotate the cartridge around and take pics from the other sides. I'm holding mine up alongside to compare.

Also, try to get a good pic of the font on the cap. Here's what it should look like.

...hmmm...

...I believe the Meisterstuck is supposed to have a serial number on the ring of the clip, on the left side (or if looking directly at it, the right side).

...never seen a fake with a SN.

You believe correctly, I just couldn't get a decent pic to show the OP as an example.

My Meisterstuck ballpoint has a serial number on the band of the clip. I bought mine at a Montblanc store and I know mine is authentic. I beleive all authentic Montblanc pens (rollerball, ballpoint etc) have serial numbers.

...I believe the Generation is void of any SN.
