I'm guessing a 14060m COSC.

The last (and in some ways, best) of breed, whilst they are still relatively(ish) sensible money.

Hey Dino...... Greetings from sunny Spain

Just checking in and saw your post........and would just say that I wouldn't let those disposable assets detract you from your goal..... If I look back on how much I have blown on cars over the years it just seems quite unbelievable to me and I can't understand, in hindsight, how stupid I was

And when I think back and actually analyse why I bought them ......probably every 2 years or so........ It was just pure indulgence and a certain amount of showing off and parading around like a peacock strutting my stuff.......clearly also using such toys to attract the ladies.....which is no bad thing.... but in the end..... just wasting money ......

You already have a fairly new and cool car.....

Why fall for the advertisers pressure to update so soon??? Just cash down the drain that could be invested in solid gold

I am still shocked at the insurance premium on that car!!! Cars can be money pits, save the tasty motors for when u hit 25 and the premiums are more in line with reality.

As for watch, I amd going Explorer 2 (polar)

Help me out everyone!!

Ok.. bare with me here..

I'm in a situation between two watches.. Although I've labelled the thread "Potential Incoming", which makes it sound like I have finallised my decision, that would be lying..

I have narrowed my next purchase down to two watches and want my friends here at " TRF " too pursuede me into which you think is best for me..

Its between -

Rolex 116610LV which alot of you know I love and used to own, and stupidly sold..

Or -

Rolex Explorer 216570 (Polar)??? << I seriously fall in love with this watch since it came out and think it could be time too itch that scratch (if you know what I mean Eric.. )

What do you think folks!!!?

Dino,

For an English chap, your spelling is frightful!

However, you do have good taste in watches.

See if you can outlast Sam with his week long teaser threads.

Will check back next week.

If it's a keeper then 100% the LV. No doubt in my mind that you and the LV are meant for each other

But seriously, i've read so many of your threads and from the little I know about you I think that the LV suits your personality perfectly and as great as gold is, you will always come back to the LV
