Settling in north wales

Been here a week now and aside from the stress, cost and weather its pretty damn nice.

I even sat down with my dad and got us a little facebook going. All TRF members are demanded to go and "like" the page.... go now....

I found my old tractor hasnt taken too well to 12 years of rain and being parked...

So today I saw this one fresh posted on ebay and settled for cash..

Must've been tough moves to make - both Wales to Cali and back again. Hope it all works out

Weather there today looks better than North Devon.

Yea it was really hard and stressful but its time to get back to family and hopefully take the business to the next level :)

Plus me and the wifey really want kids and this has got to be one of the best places in the world to grow up.

Looks like a pretty neat place if you ask me. A different pace than California, I would guess. The older I get, the more I crave peaceful, serene surroundings. Was this land that you owned before you left? How much land do you have?

Its my dads place, its got 3 fields for a total of 12 acres, two of the fields are campgrounds while the field behind the pond (in the pic) is for the horses.

Its a seriously different pace here and its almost like a farm, my parents have got 12 or so chickens, 2 horses, 8 ducks, 20 doves, a peacock and 3 dogs.

I called BT yesterday to get the broadband fixed and they said they would have someone out within 11 days, I almost got mad untill I remembered where I was lol it sure aint the states.
