gmt master 2 is proven travel watch

so i finally brought my gmt master 2 c for a hectic trip to hongkong. here's the evaluation:

the easy link easily fixes the humid, hot weather and walking commuting and sweating.
even running for one end of the terminal to the other
kept great time

im glad i brought this along. it was thin and flew under the radar. if i had brought my pam im sure to have banged it in the subway or where ever.

the only problem i see is the sharp corners of the fat lugs. but i can live with that.

You are increasing my excitement for my upcoming big day!

Does it dig in to your wrist? I think i will post about this, as I hated my hublot big bang for that very reason!

no it does not dig into the wrist. i think that would be impossible.

you will probably have a hard time adjusting it (like angling it to your line of view when it goes slightly off) if you want to see the date or to see the time in the dark when lume has run out.

I've recently caught the GMT IIc bug also! Looking forward to having it as my next watch. Sounds like you are loving your decision!

For those new to the GMT IIc, it does have a different case back and lug profile than it's predecessor (and the sub/subc). For me it was not as comfortable to wear versus the GMT II - but we are all different etc. I sold my IIc and am staying with the GMT II as a result (again, for me). The easy link and IIc clasp though are far superior though. Enjoy what ever your choice is!!

GMT2C is the only watch I bring when I travel for business. Its the best all around Rolex hands down.

I find the GMTIIC even more comfortable than SubC because of the caseback. But the SubC is my favorite.
