Ebay has its risks but what about Chrono24
TRF gurus,
Does anyone know much about this site. While we all know the benefits of buying Rolex from trusted forum sellers over Ebay (particularly individual sellers), does anyone have thoughts or comments on the below site and its "trusted sellers". Particularly for those of us who like to shop beyond the crown brand which dominates TRF sales. Buying abroad is tough when you live as far away as some of us do. http://www.chrono24.com/en/home/index.htm

I browse chrono24 all the time. But I would buy with caution since there is mostly stock photage of watches which I find suspicious. Buy the seller is usual arguement, because it is true.

I browse it too, never actually bought through it, I guess the sellers that have a brick and mortar shop would be better than private sellers, as then you actually have an address to turn up on, if you never get your watch.

I sell quite a bit there, but I post actual pics, so that helps potential clients. Chrono24 consists of dealers, good and bad, so as with ebay, buy the seller first. Do your due diligence. There is far less recourse with Chrono24 as it is primarily a tool to link the seller and the buyer together. The terms of transaction are up to the parties involved only.
