AP 15300 or AP 15400
hi guys
i want to buy new AP, i don't know which model to buy. today at the store i tried the 15300 And suddenly it looks small to me because I got used to my roo panda... What do you think would be more in demand? the 15300 because Stop producing it? or the 15400 because it new Collection and because The tendency today is big watches? I have a price of 11500$ for the 15300 from AD of AP. this is good price or can i argue more? about 10000-10500$? the 15400 is 500-700$ more thank you |

10k -10.5k for a mint/lnib from grey... not BNIB from AD...
the RO will always be a 39mm in my mind... leave the bigger diameters to the ROOs. But what do I know... I'd say it looks like your mind is on the 15400... go with whatever you think look best on you. |

and i'm talk about BNIB. not LNIB. But I thought to myself, when I would be in the store with cash I can ask for a discount of several dollars off |

have fun trying on and deciding... don't worry about which one will be more in demand in the future... tastes change and it could go either way (bigger or smaller) |

Personally I prefer the 15300. It wears a little bigger than its 39mm suggest. The ROOs at 42mm, now 44mm, wear pretty big (even relative Panerai). It entirely depends on what you're looking for. If you want a big watch, get another ROO (maybe a Diver?). If you're looking for something with a little class, then the 15300 is a great choice. Nothing against the 15400 but I'm not sold on the new dial (although it works great for the Jumbo) and size.

I just got a 15300 a bit ago, and the 39mm size works just fine for me. Ultimately you need to get the one that works best for you, don't worry about which one works for everybody else.

Admittedly biased, since I just bought one, but the 15300 is a great watch.

It never hurts to argue for a few more dollars off, but IMHO, that is a good price from an AD. I paid more for mine last year in the US from an AD, though I still got a decent discount.

15300 gets my vote...for now. Would love to try on the 15400 though. Have to wait until September though...

I love both. IMHO pick the one that suits you best. I think you will have a month long smile either way.

Easy for me - the 15300. Just find some side by side photos online between the two and look at the placement of the date window of the 15400. Since they used the same Cal 3120 movement they were forced to move it closer to center. Looks completely wrong to me. Scope up a 15300 while you can.
I had a 15300.OR - probably the nicest watch I have or ever will own. |

That's already a great price. I'd say go with the 15300 like mine.

I also don't like the changes to the 12 o'clock position - yes, I know the double marker is reminiscent of the Jumbo, but there was just something awesome about the large "AP" up top. The seconds-hand doesn't look as good, either. 15300 all the way. One day... one day...

Actually I am guessing that the 3120 was probably designed originally for a 36 mm case as the date looks in the right place in the 15450. |

I have a 15300ST still brand new in the box... is it worth selling it right now? I'm thinking about getting a ROO instead...

15300 for me. It would better to go with the Diver if you opted the 41mm size. Just my 2cents.

Personally, I prefer the dial on the 15300. I like having AP at the 12 o'clock position.

A quick question - does the bracelet of the 15300 have a micro adjustment, or is removing or adding links the only form of adjustment?

No microadjustment--you just remove or add links to get the fit you need. A half-link is available as well, and can be helpful to some Royal Oak wearers. |
