Reference thread for jmp909
Please do not consider this first post a reference for myself, I am starting this thread after a conversation with an individual I had a transaction with so that I can try to maintain a list of references in one place. Please direct any questions not related to my conduct in transactions to me directly via PM as I would appreciate for this thread to consist only of posts reviewing and/or arguing over my conduct.
If I engaged in a transaction with you on another watch forum and you are willing to register here as well to contribute to this thread, please register with the same username that you use on other watch forums if possible and thank you for your time. |

jmp909 bought a JLC Master Control Date from me last year.
We agreed on terms, it was paid for promptly and I'm pleased to recommend him as a trusted buyer and fellow aficionado in our chosen hobby. In short, a pleasant, honest, upfront man whose word is his bond. We have since spoken on a few occasions as well as exchanging emails. Yes, he's now a friend. cheers richard |

Bought an IWC chronograph from jmp909. I wired funds directly into his account. Watch was better than described and arrived as promised. The packaging and care taken in protecting watch before shipping was superb. I expect to make future purchases from jmp909. His honesty and communication set an example to the watch collecting community.

I purchased a JLC "rice link" bracelet in May 2012 from Max aka JMP909. He was very patient as vetted him out he went over the top with his time as he discussed the purchase with me and was very positive with my due diligence. As the first purchase without PayPal to back me up I was very anal about references etc.
The communication was better than I have ever experienced with ANY online transaction. Max was very attentive and took personal responsibility to see that I was 100% satisfied. I wired money directly to his BOA account in NY without a hitch. I will work with him again! |

I very recently purchased a Rolex 14060M (two line Sub ND) from jmp909 (aka Max). The piece is immaculate and even more beautiful in person than the description or photos could convey. It was my first transaction on TRF and first with Max, but if I'm fortunate, it won't be my last.
His attention to detail, customer service and communication made this an incredible experience, bested only by the gorgeous Sub which has found a new home on my wrist. It was my first time wiring money to an external bank and Max very patiently and graciously took the time to answer all of my questions and helped me through the steps to ensure a smooth transaction. I can without hesitation recommend Max as a trusted seller and offer that there are many lessons to be learned from how Max conducts himself and his attention to customer service. I would absolutely (and hope to) work with him again. Kind regards, Greg |

Just completed transaction and made a friend. Max was very open and up front about the transaction. Also very willing to share knowledge he acquired. Couldn't be happier.

Just completed a deal with Max, he was open and honest and his watch was even better than described. He is a good guy to deal with, understands that not every watch that has been worn is LNIB and honest. This watch is even cleaner than he described and he is gold to deal with.

Almost made a deal with Max. Gave me a great price, answered all my questions and was a pleasure to talk to. I transferred money to his account but after a day and due to personal reasons, I had to back out of our deal.
He gave me back my money and a bit more! Because of his bank's problems, the money took a while to get to me, but eventually made it's way back to me. He even paid for the wire transfer fee that I would incur. In short, I would never hesitate to deal with him in the future! Very trustworthy and honest! |
