Got my 1st Rolex yesterday NIB TT/DJ/Jubilee/Roman
Hello everyone. I am very excited and wanted to share my new Rolex with the forum. I am 58 and have always been happy with a $50 watch. I have a friend who is a WIS but he could not afford really expensive watches. I used to make fun of him for spending a lot of money on watches. We were in the navy together and when we would go on cruises overseas, he would buy cheap copies of the watch I just bought in Hong Kong or Singapore. He said he was doing it as a gag, but I know he was wearing them when I was not around and was telling people they were real. After leaving the navy he was eventually able to get a used Rolex.
I have no idea what caused it, but about two months ago the idea of buying a Rolex popped into my head and the research project was on. It led me to this site and yesterday I picked up my watch from Tony (JUSTROLEXES) in San Diego. This is a great forum that has friendly, knowledgeable members and I'm glad I found it. When I think of Rolex, there is one watch that comes to mind and that is what I bought. I know it is a very common model, but I love it. So here it is. Thanks everyone, Rick |

I agree the white/roman dial is really nice. I like the white/roman dial on the two tone and was actually having a problem choosing between the two. |

DJ, the dress watch in the classic colors that established the Rolex reputation in the business world. Not the most expensive, not the most difficult to find, but, certainly one of the most-recognized and most-functional of the whole lot. And - its a NEW ONE! Well done!
Enjoy it daily and wear it in good health! |

One of the ALL-TIME classic watches in existence. Well done, sir.
And thanks for your service in the Navy!

What a great watch. One look at that classic and you know it's Rolex. Enjoy for many years to come! I think what makes luxury watches so enjoyable is that you can wear them on your wrist daily.
