The SD needs no introduction ... no nonsense Rolex, big, bold,no silly magnifying glass etc.

The shirt bought at the stall of a Harley shop at the festival.Local agents for the firm and some serious chrome hardware on display.Yummy brothers, yummy !!

The copper and brass bangle bought from an interesting person ... A Willie Nelson lookalike, just with dreadlocks and much dirtier. Many tatoos, cowboy hat, scruffy, sunburnt ,a lot of copper and I would love to know what goes on in his head.Cost:$6.50

The hat is blue and it says Bulls,so it must be associated with me ....

Aardklop(Eartbeat or Earthpulse) festival.Held anually in the town of Potchefstroom. This year was the 10th anniversary,so it was held over 7 days, instead of the usual,5 days. This is a culture specific festival, with a large attendance,of at least 250000 this year.

Saw 8 shows in two days time !! Fantastic !!

Die Storm ~ Skakespeares 'The Tempest' in my language.Excellent production.Held in the conservatorium of the univerity where i was awarded one of my degrees.
Die Nagloper ~ Musical drama "The Nightwalker" Its about David de Lange who sold 1 million records between 1934-1939.He introduced blues and Charleston music to the local music, but was boycotted by the ruling political party of the day .........
Sameloop "Walking together" Two female cousins, one classic violinist, the other contemporary, combining to great effect.Blues in between too.
Jan Blohm "Joe Flower"~ if roughly translated.Course voice, blues and rock
Jaq de Priester "Jack the Priest" Thats his stage name.... Doing a dramatic musical regarding a great local mucisian who commited suicide.
Lize Beekman ~ "10".Can listen to this blondie forever.Voice and guitar.
Meisie sing die blues "Girlie sings the Blues" The earth runs on a rhytm and that rhytm is the blues .. Yeah !!
The classic 'Meal for one' ... Daisy,James,Adm von Schneider,Mr Pomeroy,Mr Winterbottom etc.Timeless,as ever !!

Had a fantastic time.Wanted to see more, but many of the shows sold out.
