Backyard landscape reno (MODEM BURNER!!!)
I've just finished a big clean-up of the back yard. After 12 years living here it was due for a change up
So, the first problem was the cedar hedge that'd gotten really woody after years of trimming. Time to go: Now its cut down, time for the 22 stumps A 3 1/2 ton floor jack comes in handy Next, the chain link fence and posts I'm pretty sure they crashed 2 cement trucks here and just stuck the post in the wreckage. The yellow is an air line from my compressor in the garage attached to my air chisel. It was the world's smallest jackhammer that day. Time to pressure wash and stain the back fence and do a bit of moving The post hole crew, easier to have them drill the holes and set the posts Now we can get going with the next phase of this job. I love building fences, especially when we're working with cedar. Old landscape timbers 'R Us. My poor old Focus wagon thought it was a dump truck during this reno Now that's all cleaned up, we can get going on the flower beds So, its done and now we just have to wait for the perennials to fill in.......

That is a lot of back breaking work. Looks absolutely beautiful something to be proud of (not to mention the neighbors envy?).
Although where is the obligatory watch photo?

Thanks, all. It took 4 weeks from start to finish, including 14 trips to the dump, a couple of days for the concrete to set in the post holes, and many visits to the lumber yard and nurseries. Now we get to start at the front of the house.........

By your title, I thought you were working on a house in Reno, NV
Really great job, looks like a back yard party place. You have a natural gas line back there, hook that barbecue up !
