5 Days till Wedding. Which watch to wear??

Im getting married in 5 days and am trying to decide which watch to wear?

The only Rolex I currently own is my GMT II – Pepsi, which I obviously love but I have an opportunity to wear my buddies white gold Daytona (white face) on a strap if I feel inclined. He offered it since I was getting married on the beach and will be wearing white linen. May look more fitting with my attire and the occasion vs. my GMT.

What do you guys think? My GMTII vs. Daytona?

I would wear your GMTII on your wedding day. It will give your watch even more meaning and significance.

I couldnt agree more .... We buy our Rolex watches to last a lifetime, and our watches join us through all the good and all the bad times in our lives .. Whats more special that your own Rolex joining you on your wedding day?

Ok, Im probably going to wear my pepsi....that is unless i get a surprise from my Fiancé the morning of when we exchange wedding gifts

I had thought about going "no watch" but I just dont think I can. Ive been wearing a watch everyday for years and I just dont feel right without one on.

I will make sure and post pics from the wedding/honeymoon when I get back for sure!

You are definitely making the right decision. Have a fabulous day and make sure to take every minute in. It will be over before you know it.

personally, i'd either wear my own watch or not wear a watch at all. it's a "time-less" day, so, feel free to go without.

have a great wedding!

and the last thing you want to do is to make the watch more of a talking point then the bride on the day

You've been married for a while, eh?

I think you should wear your own watch.

agreed, wear your watch .... but if lets say there was another watch that was "yours" maybe a gift or a ... well wedding dresses cost a lot of money, how could the mrs begrudge you a proper watch to go with a smart linen suit ... something with a black strap and white dial is a good start ...

if that won't fly, how about a black insert for your gmt?

congratulations and best of luck with the bride.

Yeah man, I wore my YG D-D to my wedding.

And since now it has that special meaning, I refuse to wear it anymore. I think it may make a nice nugget necklace someday .
