Questions About Authenticity?

So I bought a new old stock (D serial) Ladies Yacht Master from a source recommended on this forum who obtained it from a chain retailer, but there are a few things I find unusual. Perhaps I'm just unfamiliar with the LYM, but I feel compelled to inquire.

1. There is a sticker on the case back that is clear with a red line across one third of it, not the green sticker.
2. There is no gasket on the stem despite a photo in the manual which clearly shows a gasket.
3. I can't see the micro etch coronet on the crystal. I have good close eyesight, but no loupe. How hard is this to see?
4. The warranty card serial number matches the watch case, but card says champagne when the dial is white. Seller says not unusual for AD to swap dials or send to Rolex to sawp.
5. The bezel rotates both ways.

Otherwise, the watch looks fine, except it is a little shopworn. It's obvious the band has been off a few times. Etchings between the case lugs appears correct and matches the card and hangtag.

All of these things are normal for a ladies YM..

1. Green stickers went away years ago
2. Only the Mens Triplock crowns have an exposed gasket
3. You can't readily see the coronet.. If it was easy, everybody would have one..
4. Dials are frequently changed by initial owners of Dealers who know what sells..
5. Only Diver watches have a unidirectional bezel.. all others are bi-directional and the YM is not a divers watch..

Enjoy your watch....

Thank you, Tools and everyone else. I thought as much. As you can see from the photos it looks correct, just a few things different from my limited experience. I haven't bought a new Rolex in many years, and never a ladies version, so I figured I'd turn to the experts.

My wife has the exact configuration as this.....
Yours looks good and a expected of an authentic. So no problems there.
As Larry said, all your concerns are normal. My only concern was the dial not matching the paper work, but it appears to be OEM.
I hope your wife enjoys that piece for the beauty it is, congrats on a wonderful piece!!

If you bought from someone you trust, enjoy a great watch. One thing about Rolex is that any watch guy can recognize the real object. It's a bit trickier to authenticate that everything is correct for a specific model.

Found the seller through this site, that was the first thing I did right. The whole transaction felt right was good confirmation that things were fine. With watch in hand, I had little doubt of authenticity, but there were a few nagging unexplained inconsistancies. In addition, I have never bought from someone other than an AD, and I have no experience with fakes to know just how good they can be, or the possibility of something like a Frankenwatch for lack of a better term. Just covering my bases and learning a bit along the way.

Relax!

Breathing exercises.

In with good, out with the bad.

Repeat 32 times, or until you get light headed.

You're fine.
