Bluesy update...

As some of you are aware I was waiting for the call from my contact at a local AD, he was trying for a T/T Blue for me....

Well I got the call this afternoon..... and then my door knocked about 7pm......

Paid £3000 - Brand new, Z serial, I'm well pleased. It's a keeper me thinks !!

Alright, Dan!!!

From the pictures, it appears you got one of the original, i.e. darker blue, dial models.

Good on 'ya, mate!

I'm not 100% but it looks like any other Blue Sub I've seen - ie the older colour, which I think I'd prefer !? Either way - it is stunning I have to say

Ah!!! I didn't mean congrats for getting the darker dial model. I meant congrats for getting such a lovely watch.

If it turns out you have the lighter shade dial, the only important thing is that you think it's stunning. I've seen both dials and IMHO there's not a lot of difference, some but hardly any, and neither is "better" than the other. Both shades are stunning as far as I'm concerned.

Congrats again!

Congrats on your new acquisition. I would say that TT blue is the ONLY watch that I will never part with. Everything else is flippable to me...but not bluesy.

Those are great pictures!! Enjoy your new watch in the very best of health!

I was just curious, does anybody know the conversion of 3000 pounds to US dollars?

I am guessing it is around the high 7000 range.

Thanks for the info Fitchy!!

I did the conversion on it, it comes out to about 6090.00 USD. Not bad for a Z series!
