...hmmmmm...
...ref 951 Tudors were made of EITHER, S/S, solid 14K, or solid 18K.
...I have owned MY 951 in 14K for years and have handled an all S/S 951, only to return it as it had mechanical issues. ...the only 18K I have seen is in "THE BEST OF TIME". ...the interesting thing about the 951 is that it uses a BUMPER movement! ...and, I believe this bumper mvmt to be the ONLY time that Rolex or Tudor ever used a bumper mvmt. |

Is it possible for 14K 951 to have SS back? I just bought what appears to be genuine 951 and seller claims that watch is solid 14k with SS case back.

Man, if that's a fake caseback, that's a really good job. I can seem some slight differences, but it could also be because the 14k photo is blurry and makes it hard to tell.
The "D" in Tudor is different between the two and the kerning seems different too. But that could be from the photo. I know nothing about spotting fakes, just pointing out what's visible in the photos. Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk |
