bracelet question
Hey all, after an absence I am back. I have a question for the hive mind.
I have a head from an Oysterdate from 1961. How do i find what was the original bracelt # for it? Thanks all. Gantrell |

Give us the model number from between the lugs (e.g., 15xxx, whatever) and we can usually find out which bracelet was stock, along with the correct end piece callout. Alternately, you can describe the watch by identifying the metals of the case, bezel, etc (e.g., SS, WG, YG) and describing the bezel design (i.e., smooth, or fluted). As a hint, most of these were furnished typically with oyster bracelets and smooth bezels, but there are exceptions. Hope this helps.....

It may hve come on leather.. BAck then you could choose alternate bracelets/straps..
If Rolex equipped it would have likely been a 7835/19

Larry is correct, and you need end links marked 57. 557 will work too, but is for the later 78350/19 bracelet (that will fit your watch too). So the 7835 with 57s from the era, or a later 78350 with 557s is OK. Best, A |
