Anyone have exp with this ebay seller?
Ebay name: brenner-and-sons
Looking at this piece: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Rolex-Submar...ht_3618wt_1270 How would I go about getting this piece authenticated after purchase? He offers an authenticity guarantee but how can this be validated by a third party? Do RSC still do authentication? Thanks, H |

Awesome, thanks for the help! That's great that he is a known seller here. Would I have anything to worry about with authentication or should I get it checked out regardless after purchase?

You should be fine.
Do not go through Ebay, contact him through TRF, you should get a better price.. |

I pm'ed him and asked why none of his watches have a straight on pic of the dial. His response was his photo set up won't allow. To me that is total BS. So I have chose to stay away.

I was interested in the DJ he had on sale and he sent me straight pics of the dial. He had to take new pics but it wasn't much of an issue.

Every watch that I purchase is brought straight to my watchmaker for an evaluation. You never know the condition inside the caseback until you have it checked. I purchased a Submariner once that had a caseback that was stripped. Another time I was about to pull the trigger on a 1965 GMT and upon examination it had some "tools" marks (gouges) inside the case that affected the position of the movement and how it fit inside the case. (I passed on both watches.)
Having a purchase checked to verify its authenticity is one thing, but having it checked to determine whether the watch has any issues is just as important.

I bought a Day Date from him through TRF and it was a perfectly fine transaction. You will get a better deal through here instead of ebay.
