Another one bites the dust.
My local AD here in Roseville, CA (Ben Bridge) lost Rolex about 3-4 weeks ago. The SA mentioned it was a unilateral decision by Rolex and that I could still get watches from Ben Bridge in SF. Interesting. Actually bad for the local salespeople as they've lost Omega and Rolex in the last year or so. Called the other local AD who stated that Rolex and Bulova is all they carry. Knew nothing of a possible Tudor return to the US. Clearly Rolex is following the Omega pattern. I wonder what this means for grey market dealers and the secondary market? Interesting thing about the Ben Bridge, is that they could never find me a SS Daytona or a 14060m despite my waiting for months to years. They finally admitted that the SS Daytona's would get bought up higher ups in the company before getting to the general public. My 14060m ended up coming from DavidSW. I think the discounts really will be a thing of the past, if not already.
