Christie's Watch Auction
Just thought I'd let anyone know who is interested, Christie's is having a watch auction on Oct 17. Viewings are Oct 11-16. And yes, there are some rolexes i've never seen before!
http://www.christies.com/features/oc...1/overview.asp Also a Christie's-sponsored multi-page article on watches in the Wall St. Journal wkend edition (section A).

Why would anyone purchase a watch that is sold "as is", without any warranty, or opportunity to take it to a watch maker to check out? That's how the auction houses sell watches... Be afraid, be very afraid...
