Do RSC's do paid authentications on the spot or do you have to make an appointment for service? I'd like to know 100% that my watch and parts are genuine. What is the best course of action to do so?

I think you should expect to book it in or at the very least to leave it with them...
The quickest turn around that I have had is within a day...but depends on how much work they have on, and how nice you are to the girls at the reception :-) |

You drop it off or send it in and they send it back to you, After 2-3 days.
