My new friend, (76100)
Picked up a new friend today, an absolutely stunning 76100. Im not a vintage expert at all, but this one talks to me in a lovely way :-)
Before i picked it upp i tried to fins some info on this model, it sure wasn´t easy. What can you guys tell me? The serial is 22xxxx, the bracelet is marked 7836 with 358b endlinks, is this right? Can you tell the age of the watch by the serial? If it was a rolex i know there would'nt be an issue, but tudor seems a little.... trickier :-) The dial and hands seems original, have no idea about the bezel or insert. The bezel is quite sharp, maybe replaced sometime? Anyway, here are some pictures of the reason why am eating noodles for rest of the week :-) |

you are a lucky man. very nice watch! Look up Tudor Submariner in google and you will find a great site dedicaetd to this model. you have a great watch. The bracelet that is most commonly seen on this model is a 9135, but 7836 is fine. it may not be original, but its a great replacement.
i have the same one on my 1972 tudor sub. |

Nice!! It's still amazing to me that the all the iterations of the sub - whether Tudor or Rolex- is special in its own unique way. How could they have produced so many successful (design and utility) iconic examples?

Thank you everyone!
The seller claimed it was a late 70s, but it must be 80s right??? |
