Serial number of Rolex submariner ceramic

I buy Rolex Submariner Ceramic 116610 (black) this month (June 2012).
I can not find serial number except model number (116610) when I remove strap.
Can anyone give me more info for location of serial number on watch?

Thank you

It's on the rehaut at the 6 o'clock position.

That's the silver flange just above the dial.

And also, why is it on a strap and not a bracelet?

BTW: Why you buy if you don't know?

You've got the presence of mind to remove the bracelet but not observant enough to look at the obvious.

Thats another of the strange serial line up since Rolex started to use the so called random. It has been reported up till now M,G,R, with the normal 6 numbers plus randoms running all the same time on 2010 -2012 bought watches. This is why all this serial hysteria and Internet serial code stuff cannot be relied on to date any Rolex watch when it was made. As according to most internet charts M serial is from 2007 as we all should know the ceramic sub was not released until Basel 2010.

The serial number should be at 6 o'clock position.

Dont now how many times we have to tell you guys you cannot date when a completed watch was made read above post 8.All these Internet codes can tell you is a approx date when a case/clasp may have been stamped. Now Rolex themselves have never released this information all the Internet codes are all based on supposition nothing more. And with the slow selling models like the TT and gold diamond models even these codes cannot give a true indication when the watch was made. Now GXXXXXX serials were first reported in the many forums as being seen around July 2010.Plus a few other single letters and the so called random remember all these codes are a approximation when a case/clasp was stamped and not when the completed watch was made.
