Anyway to fix a mark on bezel insert?
How do professional restorers do it?
My problem is a very very tiny chip - just enough where you can see metal. ( Seadweller ) Anyone have any experience with this? |

The bezel insert of the SD (and Sub Dates and old GMT II's) is made of aluminium.
If it gets chipped so that the aluminium shows through, it cannot really be fixed, but a bezel insert for the SD does not cost much and can be exchanged by a fresh one by the RSC at the next service. NICE pic of a "CYCLOP" in your avatar, btw!  I found another one:

You guys don't think a tiny tiny dot of black enamel would provide a jury rigged solution?
the watch budget is a bit low :( how much are the inserts anyway? |
