IWC Pilot crown issue?

Okay so I just noticed this and not sure if it's normal or not. The crown should have 3 positions.

1, to wind the watch
2, to change the date
3, to set the time

I seem to have trouble getting to position 2 and have to fidget to get there. When I do, it sometimes stops and gets into position 1.5 where it seems to be in limbo. I can neither wind, nor set anything. And sometimes I can only get to 2, by going to 3 first. I would pull it out fully, then gently push it back in a bit.

A video that explains what I mean.

Is this normal or shall I return it? I just got it a week ago and my dealer would exchange it if there is something wrong with it. Question is, is this normal?

I had this issue with my rolex 16610. I don't think its normal on any watch to have to go to 3 to get into 2. At least not on any watches I have had. I would take it to your AD and just trade it in.

Never encountered the problem that you described when I had a Big Pilot. I would get the AD to take a look.
