Explorer II 42mm...Too Good to Be True
I'm about to pull the trigger on this piece. The seller looks legit based on feedback but at a starting bid of only $6500 how come no body has bid? I've been watching this model on TRF and the cheapest I've seen is $7200. What I'm I missing?

Im not good with ebay but the watch in that picture is real. I would be careful thought since that is pretty cheap. Perhaps they bought the watch and are not aware of the price increases. Good luck and welcome !

Auction closed at $6700 which is where I'm at negotiating on a new one now. Doesn't seem out-of-line to me since they are not jumping out of dealer display cases.

the reason why ebay is cheap is because the sellers have no overheads to pay like those fancy watch stores do. Instead of dumping at pawnshops or used watch stores, they can actually get pretty good fair martket price. but of course you always have to be cautious when dealing with ebay, always check their feedbacks and make sure always paying with paypal method.
