Incoming!!!

OK
I have really been trying to buy fewer personal watches
and getting more pieces in for inventory but every once in
a while a piece I have wanted a long time comes up from
a good friend for a good deal and I just could not resist
this time.....
Hopefully if all goes well I will be updating this thread with pics....

Only clue I will give you is that it is not Rolex, Patek, AP or Panerai or else this post would be in one of those forums :)

Negative on the JLC but I did just get a hold
of JLC Grande Reverso GMT in a trade from a
client... JLC does make some stunning pieces!

Vacheron?

At least I hope it is. I wish to see the brand get more presence around these parts.

That's barely enough Ken, you just have, like, one...

Now what was this thread about? I hear about a new watch but I do not see any!

HaHa no, not ready to sell most of my collection for the Lange I would want.

Someday I will grow up and get a Lange and a Patek

Stick around for a while and I'll do my part.

You have one of my favorites from them. Enjoy it!

P.s.

If you EVER, EVER get tired of it and decide you'd rather give it away then sell it, send it to me!

I'll even pay for overnight shipping!

TaDa!

Granted is no Lange, AP or PP
BUT
I have always thought it is a great movement
The silver dial with blue hands and applied numerals
is just stunning. The little bit of red on the PR dial
kinda sets it off.
I am going to be getting a tan croc strap for it.
I like the blue but think I will get more wear from
the tan.

Anyway sorry for the crappy IPhone pics but its what
was quickest and easiest.

Thank you Ken & Matt!

I do not know why I have always found this so appealing but
it just looks great!

I will be changing to a tan croc strap I think.

Thanks guys!
It gets worn about twice a week in my rotation.

I own a family entertainment center so am often sticking my hands in dark machines to fix something so I leave the shiny watches at home during the day.

I usually will wear my Rolex Exp II (40 mm) but recently it's been the PAM243

I frequent a local cigar bar and play musical watches daily with what I wear there. Seems quite a few cigar smokers are watch junkies as well, I have met some great people there due to watches opening the introduction door... Even picked up a couple clients there, gotta find a TT Blue Sub for someone now.

Surprisingly no one really comments on Rolex in my area as they are quite common... Of all the watches I have owned and worn seems that in my area I get the most comments on Panerai but this IWC has gotten quite a bit of attention as well.

I will say it does wear big for its size due to having such a big face, I actually feel it wears larger than my PAM243 and it borders on almost too big for my wrist as a result but this is one of those watches I have always lusted after and been fascinated with the movement so it is a keeper.
