John-Congrats!
Love the T-O-G!!! A super way to add a function to a daily watch.

Wish they could make a plain stepped bezel that a T-O-G ring could snap onto and then be replaced with a fluted or domed ring by the owner as the need dictated.

Some had said after Basel 2012 that is was discontinued but I still see 3 DJ T-O-G models at the head of the DJ class on the website.

Yeah, I wonder about this too. The SS TOG is on the website but it is not in the 2012 price list.

The SS/WG version was removed from the latest price list but the YG and RG TT remain with a price increase of $100 for the Jubilee bracelet.

I very much like the TOG and would probably buy one if it came larger than 36mm.

Ah the ToG, best looking watch in the DJ lineup and we philistines overlooked it and it withered and died on the Rolex vine. The watch I'd always forget about until I saw one in an AD. She went before her time.

Very nice look - and the bezel markers are so understated that it fits any attire; business or casual.

Those vintage pieces look great. Ever see older ones with dark faces?

Thanks

Yes, the 6609 and earlier versions have more interesting dial and index combinations.

Looks great John. You didn't by any chance get this from Blowers in Hull? Had half an eye on it myself and noticed its now been sold. If so how good were Blowers transaction and service wise? Thinking of going up there in a couple weeks looking for Datejust on Jubilee bracelet. Not made my mind up between TT or SS.
Cheers
Nick

Hi Nick, yes it was the one from Blowers, Mark did me a good deal an is also sending me a couple of links so it will be on the wrist in no time.

I have had a couple of deals with Blowers and find them polite and professional. I would have no problems recomending them.

Keep us all up to date with your choice.
