Help selecting new white-/silver-dialed watch on leather strap

Hello Friends and Fellow Watch Enthusiasts,

I have been a long time reader but rare poster on this forum. I want to thank you for the insight that I have gained and appreciate the enthusiasm we share.

I was wondering if you could help me out.

I am in search of a new watch in the 3-5K range (US) and wanted to know what you would suggest based on the following criteria:

I would like a watch with:
Dial - White- / Silver-faced dial on a leather strap
Size - 38-42 mm range (as I have a 6.5-inch wrist)
Movement - preferably automatic, but intrigued by manual winding – doesn’t have to be an in-house movement
Complications – date, at least

Again in the $3000-5000 range.

I have come up with several watches, so far but would like more choices:
IWC – Portofino Automatic
IWC – Portofino Chrono
IWC – Portuguese Chrono – rarely available in the price range

Nomos – Zurich Datum
Nomos – Orion Datum

I am seeking your input for other suggestions of watches.

Suggestions, opinions and pictures are always welcome.

Thank you and have an excellent day.

dan

I love IWC
I have a RG Chrono and a SS Blue Hands silver dial 7 day.

If you can wait and save up I think IWC is GREAT!

JLC is another good option if you like their designs. A little too grown up for me.
