Fake Rolex wall clock

We all know this item is a complete fake. I really hate these things. Who would like to help me banish it before some poor dude gets robbed of his/her hard earned cash?

This one is up to over $577, please help save these people from paying $576 more than the POS is worth.

To me the movement gave it away, didn't look anything like a Rolex.

I trust there are genuine clocks out there, are there not? I bought one 5-6 years ago on Ebay. Now I will have to check it out further when I I get to my office.

People don;t think these are real, do they?

I just assumed they would be OK for someone looking for a novility in there game room or office....

I know it's a trademark infringment, but that's Rolex problem, not ours...

Would you pay $700 for a cheap rip off Chinese wall clock, if not than its not fair on the bidders especially if they don't realise its fake. Judging by the price that some of these reach I would bet that a lot of people think the clocks are real. Also if the people that sell these start making a killing then they may just try their luck at flogging some fake watches. This in turn contributes to the integrity problem of not just Rolex items but fakes in general. I can understand where your coming from and I would have agreed with you not to long ago but I almost bought one of these for $550. This site saved me and I think if people knew these were fake their marginal value would most likely meet their marginal cost at around $10.

Google search Rolex clock, you can buy one of these fake clocks for 150. The sites specify they are not authentic.

I know someone who paid over US$ 800,-- for this kind of crap (and then he asked me if it's genuine).
Most of these come from Canada - and they are good in pushing bids with other accounts into these heights (shill bidding).

And it seems, if you cut off one head, there are 5 more coming up.

I don't think they are knowingly paying $500 on up for counterfeit Rolex wall clocks. I'm sure they all think they are real.

re: rolex wall clocks. as former rolex usa advertising and promotion manager from 1966-1970, i can only speak to this subject for that period, although i imagine geneva's policy was continued for some time thereafter. rolex geneva distributed promotional items for various purposes; some as "gifts" to authorized jewelers (note jewelers, not dealers at that time), some for exclusive display in authorized jewelers retail stores (eg, countertop mirrors, wall clocks, shadow box displays, etc). the former were sometimes given to jewelers at discretion of the territorial salesman. the latter were purchased by the jeweler either from co-op advertising funds or out of pocket. the gift items were impressive, made of luxury materials for, not by, rolex geneva.
under andre heiniger, rolex carried the banner of excellence in whatever bore the crown and letters. this was in the rolex dna. i still have some of the items from those days and their quality is unmistakeable. one item is a soft leather tobacco pouch made for geneva by dunhill of london, in black with a crown stamped in a corner. running out of space now. hope this helps clear up the question raised by "yakmeister".

Garpesce, I am not very literate when it comes to computers. It took me a while to post pics, but if you keep at it, you will eventually get it. Would love to see your Rolex items. Welcome to the Forum.
