Very nice. You can't go wrong with a SD.

Congratulations.

It's interesting, that the new box design came out at F series too, but yours has the older style. My TT Sub (F series) has new style box.

Just goes to show that with Rolex, inconsistancies are quite common.

Wear it in good health.

John.

John.
I have an F series SD and also got the newer style box. I think I like the look of the older one a little better though. I notice a couple of font differences on the dial as well. That's Rolex for you I guess.

The f in 4000ft on mine is more elongated than yours and slanted. Some seem to have this and some don't. The spacing of that line on mine seems to be a little tighter on mine as well.

The second tick mark at 6 is more pronounced on yours and you have full tick marks on either side of the SWISS MADE where mine are much smaller. I have noticed these differences with other SD's but didn't know what series they were. Here's a pic of mine.

well the F series covers 3 years 04,05,06 so they could have made changes in these three years

From what I understand it is just different dial printers. Very common.

Did you pick that up from the timekeeper? Asking because he had an F SERIAL BNIB for sale. Just curious
