Scatches on new watch movement

I got myself a Tag Carrera from AD yesterday.

To my surprise, i found a scratch on the most unlikeliest of places - the movement - seen clearly through the watch's glass caseback.

I was quite disappointed cause i have been wanting to get this watch for sometime.

I gave my AD a call and returned the watch to them. They say that this is the first time that they had seen this.

I will need to wait for about a week and the likely remedies - refund, new watch or service centre to fix the problem.

Any similar encounters or thoughts on this?

Sure sorry about the scratch and hope your AD can rectify the problem quickly to your satisfaction. Cheers, Bill P.
