What Is Your Watch Rotation?

Mine is basically an every other day rotation between two primary watches. One day I'll wear my ss GMT II and the next I'll wear my Omega SMP (Seamaster Pro) Co-Axial. If we go out for the evening I'll put on my tt Submariner. So what's your watch rotation?

Depends on work schedule, functions needed, mood, or my attire that day.

I swap alternating days between Panerai 98 and my LV. My beater for the cabin is either the LV or a 40mm Panerai.

Between my gathering of five I seldom go more than 2-3 days with the same watch.

Likewise. And some days - *gasp* - I don't wear a watch at all

It depends. Lately it's been my AP ROO almost everyday. Wear my SubC usually one weekday and one day on the weekend. I've been wearing my DSSD about once every few weeks but almost always on the weekend. I don't really plan this out and am still in the honeymoon stage with my AP so of course it gets worn all the time. Really just depends how I feel in the AM.

For now, it's:

24/7/365 = Yacht-Master

Hopefully in the next year or so my YM will have a companion.

I typically rotate every other day between my Daytona and GMTII. Though on the weekend I will usually wear my GMT during the day or my G-Shock, then my Daytona at night.

Most of the time I don’t have to ever wind back up my watches if I do it this way. Three automatic watches will make things really confusing for me….

At work I sport my Breitling Navitimer for all my duties involving flight. When I get home or am just lounging around the house I wear my SS Submariner as it has the most personal meaning and reminds me of my family. When I am heading out for the weekend I put on my Explorer II. That's the first Rolex I paid for myself, it's my most blingy and newest.

All that said, my Breitling tends to get the most compliments but that's mostly from people that aren't into watches. I think they are impressed by subdials and a gold bezel. In which case I need a Daytona? Just kidding. Between a Milgauss GV or ss GMTIIC for my next Rolex. Considering a Navitimer Monbrillant Datora for my next Breitling. I have no idea where they will fit into my rotation. Everytime I have considered flipping a watch (mostly my Navi) I relent.

Rule of thumb... no watch of mine gets more than 2 days of wrist time in a row.

The only two I own: 16600 and 1665. Wear the 1665 on every open 6 and 9 days, and rotate it with the 16600 other days.

GMT IIc 24/7

1680 sub used to be 24/7 now on a sleeper cell, thinking about selling. Comming from the RSC Saturday. It looks like New, and it has been babied by me for ever.

Tissot PR 100, for grilling and when I need to tone it down depending on the audience...

Swatch (the super skinny one)- for cycling

Mon - Thurs - PAM 111 to work (dont wear a watch at home)
Fri - somtimes i mix it up and wear either the LV or DSSD
Sat-Sun - which ever is wound between the LV or DSSD (again, i dont wear a watch unless I leave the house)

I dont know how you guys with a lot of watches give them adequate wrist time. That being said, I wish I had that problem :)

I generally wear one all week and trade it in on Sunday for a different one. See collection in my sig. Sometimes one will shine for me and get 2 or 3 weeks and sometimes I will swap something more dressy or more sporty depending on my activities.

From less than an hour to ten years... depending upon mood, and availability. Currently four weeks non-stop with my Explorer 14270, and it will continue to be on my wrist at least two more weeks. Have given it some exploration/adventure lately, and there is more to come, like mountains, bicycles, and water. :-D. My 14270 has seen a lot!

Best,

A

Generally rotate one in each month and wear it every other day with my Red Sub. Coming home from work switch to my Omega SMP (blue wave dial) on a NATO. So yes that means keeping three automatic movements on the go

I rarely wear the same watch 2 days in a row.....it all depends on what I'm wearing and what kind of mood I'm in.
