No Rolex identification on the back - not a genuine article.

block bros rolex wall clock
although the '50s period predates my rolex employment by "years", i'd be very disappointed if rolex produced this clock for their retail accounts.
it doesn't pass the smell test. more likely, block bros had the clock made for them. nothing on the front or back has a quality look. even if rolex made a "kit" available for local retailer to have the clock assembled, it wouldn't look this cheesey. also, i don't recall a block bros. authorized rolex jeweler account. at one time, i knew many of 2,300 accounts by the name of the owner. it's been many years, since. |

Wow, thanks for consolidating those together David. I had seen a few of them around recently, but it's nice to have them together like that.

no problem as you can see they are very plain, if there is one thing you can count on rolex for is clear branding, perfect rolex lettering and font and perfect coronet, everyone walking past must know it represents rolex not just us watch lovers. These sub/gmt clocks etc

The wall clock being discussed here also is missing the Rolex RSM plate on the back. It is not a genuine Rolex clock, possibly a dealer item, but not from Rolex.

i know two of the clocks you show are true rolex, one is a photo of mine which i posted recently, the square walnut finish is one i described replying to "ausneal's" recent query about an ebay clock similar to the one you show. btw, i have a set of the brass marker bars for that walnut finish clock, a souvenir of my former rolex days.
the fluted bezel clock is not one i have seen previously, but i tend to agree it looks true rolex. the rear view would be helpful. |

There seems to have been a boat load of supposed ex display clocks on the bay of late but i reckon the powers that be have finally stepped in as they appear to be disappearing no sooner than listed now
